For the first half term of summer, we will be looking at seaside towns from the past and toys from the past. We will also be looking at how we grow from babies to adults.

Mrs Sutton brought her baby boy to school. His name is Theo and he is 1 year old. We asked lots of interesting questions about Theo and how Mrs Sutton takes care of him.

We had such a busy day at the seaside. The weather stayed mostly dry and it wasn't too cold. We would like to send a big thank you to all of our parent helpers, who were all amazing.
We had lots of fun exploring the scallop sculpture by Maggi Hambling. The grown-ups had as much fun as the children. We climbed and jumped off it and we crawled underneath it.

We had a treasure hunt on the beach. We looked for interesting things to collect and bring back to school. We found lots of unusual stones, pretty shells, pieces of crabs and driftwood. There were lots of bits of fishing net and we even found a fish that the seagulls had been eating. Yuk!

We also had a quiz and had to run around to find the answers. We had to find out the date on the Moot Hall and the name of the lifeboat, we also had to find out who Snooks was (it was the name of he dog statue).

we had chips for lunch and a dessert from the school kitchen. It was so yummy that the seagulls wanted some too.

We made our own boats and sailed them on the boating lake. Some of them sank and needed to be rescued.
