At Morland we use the phonics scheme Read, Write, Inc. The children start by learning the initial sounds, vocabulary for each sound and orally blending words (Fred talk). As the children progress the children are assessed and grouped so they are always working at a level which is suitable to them. Supporting your children at home will give them the best start to phonics and help with their reading and writing development. Below are links to videos to support your children at home.
