Our Classroom
In Reception, we have created a learning environment that is welcoming, engaging and exciting for the children to explore and thrive. We have areas dedicated to maths, literacy, arts and crafts, role play, construction and a quiet area for reading; something to capture the interests of every child!
Tapestry
As you know in Reception, we use Tapestry to observe and document your child’s journey through the year. We add observations of things your child has been doing in the day. We also add further learning suggestions to develop communication and language skills at home. We would enjoy seeing activities and events that have happened at home to talk further and share the news at school. This could be done by uploading a picture or comments on their tapestry account for us to see.
