The match took place on 16th October 2015 at Portman Road, the home of Ipswich Town Football Club. I was one of the 27,937 spectators of which 395 came down from Huddersfield. The football match was brilliant! From my seat I had an amazing view... you could see everything on the pitch. Once the ball went onto the roof and lots of times it went into the crowd. The crowd went wild when Ipswich got close to scoring and start singing 'Ipswich' or 'David McGoldrick'.
There were a lot of fouls and 8 players got Yellow Cards and one Huddersfield player got a Red Card because he threw the ball into the face of one of the Ipswich Town players. Quite a lot of players got injured through clashing heads, when they headed the ball, and by sliding tackles tripping them up. This meant that Ipswich had to replace 3 of their players.
Although the final score was 0-0 both teams got close to scoring but the goal-keepers played at their best and stopped any goals.
It was the best experience I've ever had.
