Talk for Writing- Three Little Pigs

Our Talk for Writing story this half term is....

Three Little Pigs

Once upon a time there were three little pigs.

One morning, the little pigs set out to build their own houses.

The first little pig built a house of straw.

The second little pig built a house of sticks.

The third little pig built a house of bricks.

Unfortunately, along came the big bad wolf to the house of straw.

He growled, ‘little pig, little pig, let me come in’.

The little pig oinked, ‘Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin, I will not let you in’.

So, the wolf huffed and he puffed and he huffed and he puffed and he blew the house down.

The first little pig ran and ran and ran, all the way to his brother’s house.

Then the wolf came to the house of sticks.

He growled, ‘little pigs, little pigs, let me come in’.

The little pigs oinked, ‘Not by the hair on our chinny chin chins, we will not let you in’.

So, the wolf huffed and he puffed and he huffed and he puffed and he blew the house down.

The two little pigs ran and ran and ran, all the way to their brother’s house.

Next, the wolf came to the house of bricks.

He growled, ‘little pigs, little pigs, let me come in’.

The little pigs oinked, ‘Not by the hair on our chinny chin chins, we will not let you in’.

So, the wolf huffed and he puffed and he huffed and he puffed but he could not blow the house down.

The wolf was cross, so he climbed and he climbed and he climbed onto the roof and started to come down the chimney.

But, the three little pigs lit a fire and put on a big pot of water to boil.

Luckily the wolf fell straight into the hot water and burnt his tail – ARRRHHH!

So finally, the wolf ran out of the house. He ran and he ran and he ran and was never seen again.

The End
