Here are some resources to help you with your writing at home.

There are some pictures to inspire writing here: Maybe you could write a story about a picture?

We use Oxford Owl at school during our Read Write Inc. lessons. They have a website that you can use at home and they are offering lots of ebooks. You can see some familiar books from Read Write Inc. plus lots of others you may not know.

A class login has been set up for you to use (Click on class login at the top of the home page).

Our class login is: morlandyear2                   Password: Year2

There are some spelling activities on there too but also some maths and english bits if you click on ‘Oxford Owl for Home’ on the homepage (this does not need the login).

There is a very good children’s book magazine which has lots of great ideas of books you might like to read.

If you have a Suffolk Library Card you can use this website to borrow ebooks. There is also an app you can use for this too called ‘Libby, by Overdrive’.
