Welcome
Our class is called Kestrels and our teacher is Mr Girling.
Summer Term
In our writing lessons, we will be writing non-fiction information texts about predators. In maths, pupils will be focusing decimals and percentages. Later in the term we will move on to learning about shapes and angles.
In history, we will be studying the Normans and their impact on England. In science, we will be looking at reproduction in plants and in animals (such as frogs and birds). In geography, we will be studying the rainforest and cities of Brazil.
Our RE topics this term we will be learning about the Eucharist and its importance to Christians around the world. We will also be learning about Buddhism.
P.E.
This term our P.E. lessons will be on Mondays and Thursdays. Our class will have swimming lessons every other Thursday.
School Uniform
Our school uniform is this:
Normal Days
- Dark grey trousers, shorts, skirt or dress.
- A blue shirt or polo shirt.
- Alternatively, a blue and white summer dress.
- A navy blue jumper or cardigan.
- Black shoes.
PE Days
- Navy blue (or black) jogging bottoms or shorts.
- A plain white t-shirt.
- A navy blue jumper or cardigan (in cold weather).
- Trainers for sport.
