Year 6 Residential 2026
20/10/26 - We have had a brilliant second day here in Derbyshire after spending the day canoeing and abseiling from a 46 foot bridge. All children have been fed and watered well and are now watching a movie and playing board games.
There are hundreds of photos still to upload, we will share more with you at the end of the trip.

Essential Kit List
Please label and familiarise your children with new clothes. This will help when identifying clothes when packing on our return. Do not pack too many clothes as the children will not wear them and struggle to re-pack their bags.
A drying room is available to dry off any wet clothes.
You will need:
- Jogging bottoms or leggings (no jeans)
- Tops: short sleeve T-shirts/long sleeve T-shirts/fleeces/jumpers/thermals/base layers (Layers)
- Jackets: Waterproof coat (not water resistant) – Warm and lightweight
- Water proof trousers
- Underwear/socks (lots)
- Evening clothes (1 or 2 sets)
- Nightwear
Footwear:
- Worn in walking shoes/boots (waterproof, not water resistant),
- trainers, slippers.
- Hats/gloves
- 2 towels
- Reusable drinks bottle – will be used everyday
- Small rucksack – will be used every day to store lunch and drinks
- Labelled bin bag for wet/dirty clothes
- Washbag: soap, shampoo, toothbrush/toothpaste
- Torches/books/playing cards/travel board games
- NO ELECTRICAL DEVICES: Phones, games, cameras etc.
- No valuables
