Talk For Writing

We have been reading story maps to help us retell stories.  We spend lots of time learning to understand the new vocabulary in the story and thinking about how stories are written. We have lots of opportunities to use the vocabulary within our provision and join in lots of story focused activities. When we know the story really well we can change the characters or the setting and make it into a new story.
