Friday 4 November

The children have enjoyed another good night - they have been very well behaved!

Today they are looking forwards to den building and a bonfire before leaving at lunchtime.

Arrival home time information will be posted on the front page of the website using the scrolling bar.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Departure Time:  Please arrive at 7am for a 7.30am departure.

Asthma:  If you have signed a medical form for your child which includes prescribed medication, this MUST be handed to Mr. Syrett on the morning of departure.  We cannot take pupils without the prescribed medication as signed in the medical form.

Travel Pills:  For children that need to take travel pills, please ensure that they have had these before they arrive for departure.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Departure:

Please arrive at the school at 7am to enable luggage to be stored and for children to board the bus.  The coach will be leaving the school at 7.30am on Monday 31st October.  Activities are booked for midday so a prompt departure is essential so that the children do not miss out.   Children that usually take travel sickness tablets should do so before departure.  Children should also go to the toilet before they leave home as they will not be able to enter the school.

Parking - To enable the coach to park outside the school and for the children to alight the coach safely, we ask that you park on Leighton Road, Fletcher Road or in Leighton Church car park.   Please keep Morland Road clear.

Children will need a packed lunch and MUST take this onto the bus along with their water bottle.  Children MUST NOT pack sweets, snacks or drinks in their suitcases.  Please celebrate Halloween in half term as we will not be celebrating this on residential due to the packed programme.

Return:

We will leave Buxton on Friday after lunch and will send an email for the estimated arrival time on the day.

Contact when away:

Children are not able to bring phones, cameras, electronics or gadgets.  Parents/Carers will only be contacted in the event of an emergency but we will post our safe arrival.  The school staff will take pictures throughout the week which you will be able to have on our return.  We will endeavour to upload a whole group picture each day onto the school website/Facebook page but can not guarantee that your child will be visible in each picture.

Weather!!!

At this time of year, the Peak District is known for its wind and rain.   Please ensure your children are well equipped with the items on the kit list.
