How do we identify pupils who need extra help?
We recognise that children make progress at different rates; therefore we use a variety of ways to identify SEND in school. These include:-
➢ Information being passed on from a previous setting.
➢ A child attaining significantly below age related expectations.
➢ Concerns raised by parents/carers or teachers.
➢ Termly Pupil Progress Meetings conducted between the class teacher and members of the Senior Management Team.
➢ A Change in behaviour manifesting.
➢ Information obtained from external agencies.
