Pattan's pumpkin

Once upon a time there was a brave man called Pattan who lived in a tiny little hut.  

One sunny morning, he went walking through the field where he met a goat. “I am off to plant a pumpkin,” said Pattan, “Would you like to come too?”

“Yes, please,” said the goat.

They walked and they walked until they met a bison. “We are off to plant a pumpkin,” said Pattan. “Would you like to come too?”

“Yes, please,” said the bison.

They walked and they walked until they met an elephant. “We are off to plant a pumpkin,” said Pattan. “Would you like to come too?”

“Yes, please,” said the elephant.

Luckily, they found the perfect spot. “Plant it here,” said Pattan.

The next day, Pattan and the goat and the bison and the elephant went to visit the pumpkin. It had grown bigger and bigger. It was taller than the goat.

The next day, Pattan and the goat and the bison and the elephant went to visit the pumpkin. It had grown bigger and bigger. It was taller than the bison.

The next day, Pattan and the goat and the bison and the elephant went to visit the pumpkin. It had grown bigger and bigger. It was taller than the elephant.

Unfortunately, it started to rain and rain. It would not stop! What could Pattan do?

Pattan and the goat and the bison and the elephant jumped into the pumpkin to shelter from the rain.

The pumpkin started to roll and roll down the mountain. But it could not stop!

Pattan and the goat and the bison and the elephant wished for it to stop.

But it would not stop!

The pumpkin rolled and rolled until…

THUD

They crashed into a tree.

Pattan and the goat and the bison and the elephant came out of the pumpkin.

“The pumpkin has saved us!” shouted Pattan.

From that day on, Pattan planted pumpkins every day just in case.
